Cathopedia talk:Roman Catholic point of view

I'm wondering whether Magisterium is a more technical word for the teaching of the Catholic Church, like I see in http://www.vatican.va/roman_curia/congregations/cfaith/pcb_documents/rc_con_cfaith_doc_20030510_ratzinger-comm-bible_en.html .
