2011

• July 29: Mauro Baglieri begins translating the essentials of the home page and other important project pages from it.cathopedia.org
• July 14: the software platform is being internationalized on the server level: everything is ready for the birth of the other linguistic versions of Cathopedia, and en.cathopedia.org goes online, together with ro.cathopedia.org and es.cathopedia.org

2009

February 13, 2006: Cathopedia is born!

• October 1: the project takes on a new name: Cathopedia; the site of the italian Cathopedia is it.cathopedia.org

2006

• February 13: it's the birthday of the Cathopedia italian project, with the provisional name of Enciclopedia Cattolica ("Catholic Encyclopedia")
